Postdocs

Postdoc applicants should be nearing completion or already hold a PhD in neuroscience, biology, engineering, computer science, psychology or other related fields. Coding, quantitative and/or experimental skills are desirable, but the applicant will have an opportunity to be trained in these techniques. Please send a CV, a one-page statement of research interests and skills, and contact information for three references.

Graduate students

Graduate students must be already enrolled at UChicago. We recruit students through the PhD programs in neurobiology and computational neuroscience. Applications are centralized and usually due on December 3rd. Please check the websites for details. If you are already a student and are interested in rotating in the lab please contact Lucas directly to set up an appointment.

Research technicians

We are not currently hiring research technicians. Please check back for future opportunities.

Undergraduate students / research assistants

Undergraduate students may have the opportunity to work with graduate students and postdocs in their projects. If you are interested please inquire about existing opportunities directly to Lucas, along with information about coursework and research experience, and specifics about the amount of time you are able to commit.

High school students

Unfortunately we are unable to host high school students in the lab.
